02.07.2010 has truly become an auspicious memorable day in the history of Chinmaya Mission, as history brought once more many heads, hearts and working hands to continue striving for a noble cause in the most constructive and progressive area of life, that is, education. With strength of 200 students, eleven faculty members, the school started functioning. His Holiness Swami Tejomayanandaji, Head, Chinmaya Mission World-wide visited the school on August 2011 and blessed the staff and students.
The Vidyalaya operating under Central Chinmaya Mission Trust, Mumbai, besides offering formal education through the CBSE stream, imparts value based education which extends a strong and effective moral foundation. The methodology based on “Chinmaya Vision Programme” established a foundation for integrated personality development, extends an in-depth, knowledge of Indian –culture and instills feelings of patriotism. This programme develops the universal outlook of the students thereby helping to mould a student holistically.
The school has steadily grown from a strength of 200 students to 1306 students and the teaching faculty from eleven to sixty-four. The school now has two block Shankaram and Tapovanam block which comprises spacious and airy smart classrooms, staff rooms, school offices and management rooms. The school has well-equipped full-fledged four laboratories, an ideal library, conference room, a spacious playground which comprises a basket ball and throw ball court, an auditorium with a seating capacity of around 500.
The subject clubs of our school like literary club, mathematics, science and social studies, reading, G.K. Seva, Interact, scouts and guides keeps the students aware of the latest developments in the respective sphere.
Students are also inspired to take part in all cultural activities at the intra and inter school levels. Teachers of our Vidyalaya are sent for seminars to keep abreast of the latest changes and trends in the teaching methodology and to quench their thirst for knowledge.
The dizzy height of tomorrow beckons the children of today, and it is the duty of parents, teachers and society to trigger optimism in them.

The vital area of focus includes education in citizenship, civic consciousness, fostering pride in being an Indian, in spite of diversity. It aims at moulding students into dedicated and committed citizens who take real pride in serving the nation. The beliefs should mould the students to have a universal approach and outlook.

From a feudal, quiet sleeping society, our country is today marching into the modern,fast,electronic age with our heads flaming with material ambitions and our hearts shrunk into ugly selfishness. The politician,the economist and the scientist cannot see anything beyond the material world,when they should. There is the job of organizing and creating a rich, prosperous and peaceful world around, with technology contributing to the society. The educationists are to bring about an extra beauty in the performance of man in the society as a result of his cultivated inner discipline and larger vision.
We are trying in our Vidyalayas to conduct the children to score in the material world, following the secular syllabus prescribed by the Government, but taught in an atmosphere of spiritual presence. We select, train and therefore expect our teachers to have such a spiritual balance in themselves so that they can spread around them the grace and glory of the spirit in the classroom. Under such a gracious canopy of moral and ethical charm, we find the students blooming into men and women, self controlled, disciplined and dynamically striving with a magnificent vision.

This programme was born to enshrine the philosophy of education developed by Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda in the heart of every growing child to bring out the best in him or her.
The child is the focal point of this programme. The programme embraces school management,teachers and parents. Through them, the light of this vision spreads to the society,country and the world at large.
The CVP can be classified as follows :

This is achieved through value education, mass chanting and yoga in our curriculum. All students also participate in the Gayatri Homam and Paduka Pooja performed in the school every week.
